RES has completed the first round of community door-knocking in Enniskillen and Brooke-Alvinston. We thank residents who shared their feedback and will continue to meet with local landowners in the coming weeks.
Community engagement materials, including a dedicated project website and fact sheets, are now available. These resources provide information about project need, safety features, and land use considerations. Stakeholders can also use our project phone line and email address to leave questions or comments
October 2025
RES is conducting technical and environmental studies, including an Agricultural Impact Assessment, to ensure the project respects farmland and complies with provincial requirements. Study results will be shared as they become available.
November 2025
A Public Community Drop-in Open House will be held on Tuesday November 4th, 2025, from 4 pm to 8 pm at the OilSprings Youth Center, 4517 Victoria St, Oil Springs, ON. The meeting minutes will be available on the Project Documents Page.
As we continue to evaluate the project, we will be making additional efforts to engage with interested communities and stakeholders in the weeks and months ahead.
