Community Engagement
RES' engagement approach is based on the following commitments:
- Keeping the community informed throughout the pre-planning development phase of the proposed Project. Providing clear and timely information on how and when they can participate in decision making and the level of influence their feedback has on the project.
- Allowing the views of local stakeholders and rightsholders to inform project planning and design (as far as practicable) and listening and responding to any concerns raised.
- Providing access to up-to-date information on project progress and demonstrate (where applicable) how the design of the Project has been adapted to take account of community participation and the findings of feasibility studies.
How We Engage
Engagement will take place throughout development, construction, and operation. This includes public open houses, newsletters, project updates, and one-on-one meetings with stakeholders and rightsholders. We also maintain a dedicated phone line and email address where community members can reach the project team directly.
Indigenous Engagement
Ensuring early, transparent, and ongoing dialogue with Indigenous rightsholders
Opportunities to Participate
We invite you to attend open houses, review project materials, and submit your comments. Your input helps us shape project design, identify local priorities, and ensure the project aligns with community needs. Information on upcoming events will be posted on the NEWS page.
